AIRBRUSH WORKSHOPS
For all types of industries for all types of people
If you are new to the airbrush, the thought of jumping feet first into the unknown can be terrifying. However, once you realize that using the airbrush becomes as easy as drawing with a pencil, your anxieties will be replaced with the desire to further explore your potential or your new-found skills.

Like many people, you are curious about the workshop experience. The first thing that you should know is that the workshops are designed to develop and enhance your visual skills and to show you how to apply those skills using the airbrush. The emphasis is on the learning process, not the completion of a lesson by the end of the workshop. Therefore, you do not have to be concerned about making mistakes or expected to complete each stage that you begin in the course. Our goal is to show you first and foremost how to use an airbrush, and allow you to comfortably work at your own pace during our step by step stages. We hope you will leave with the ability to airbrush with confidence and the knowledge you have gained by attending our workshop.

About the Foundations Course

The day before each workshop begins, we hold a 1 day course that is dedicated toward beginners or veterans who would like to brush up on their technique. On this course, we teach the proper way to hold and operate the airbrush using methods designed for different purposes. ( ie a makeup artist will use and airbrush differently to a custom auto artist.)

You will learn the foundation exercises that almost ALL airbrushing is built on.

A series of exercises that build the fundamentals required for freehand airbrush application. A series of step by step methods that when practiced, give the freedom to airbrush practically anything - which gives you the ability to apply to your choice of either a chosen profession or for leisure use.

The Foundations course costs $100 if taken with a 4 day workshop, saving you $50 over the normal price of $150 for the 1 day workshop. The extra 3 days will cost $150 per day which totals to $550 for the whole of the 4 day workshop. (gst excluded) Airbrushes and materials supplied. Workshops are during the weekends from 10am to 4pm. ( Option to purchase Airbrushes and related materials and products are available )

You can own a double action airbrush kit and mini air-compressor with regulator at a cost of $700 (gst excluded) I encourage students to use their own equipment on course so that they can get use to it and I can guide them to the correct usage.

We also offer a wide variety of products for sale for each individual profession.

Many people join our workshops with little or no airbrushing experience. Sometimes it is better to come into the course without any experience because it allows you to establish the correct way to handle and operate the airbrush right from the start. As a beginner, you may feel like your skills are lacking, but in reality your advantage is that you have not become accustomed to airbrushing in any particular style, leaving you more open to the concepts and ideas that mg will teach. In the end it doesn't matter if you're as "good" as the person sitting next to you. What matters is with the knowledge you learn, you will become a better airbrusher. The technical skills will come with time and practice. Everyone who comes to our courses, leaves as a better accomplished airbrusher. We will do our best for you to achieve all facets of airbrushing.
